I just did one change in my sidebar in ranking section, i changed the pagerank button. It was pagerank 4 button and now its pagerank 5 !!. Google updated Pagerank™ last night, i was just planning to sleep after giving my toughest paper of this sem (it was computer graphics). Paper was not so good but the pagerank update is super for me.
My Friend Ashish sms’ed me about Pagerank update, his blog got pagerank 1 (It was zero, so this is increment). I just checked my Pagerank and woop, it was also incremented by Google. Its Pagerank 5.This pagerank update is positive for most of the my friends, many of my friends got there pagerank back after some downs.
I can say that this is great Birthday gift for me by Google. My birthday was on 25th May. Thanks Google. But they should have update the pagerank exact on 25th May, hahaha.
Google is updating pagerank very frequently now a days, my be to give best results to its users while searching. This time i was in tension due to change in host, i recently changed my server to Hostgator. and wow my pagerank increased. Many people experience pagerank down after such host changes, but it was good for me.
My internal pages also got high Pageranks, few pages like these got pagerank 4.
- Comment pages in WordPress 2.7 and SEO.
- TheChetan.com shifted their servers to hostgator
- Ubuntu 9.04 launched including for Notebooks
- and many more….
and few pages got pagerank 3-2 etc etc
Even my Twitter profile @cchetanonline got the Pagerank 3 !!
My overall traffic is also increased from few days, i think my tricks about “on page” and “off page” SEO are now working fine and i am getting superb results out of my research and work. Hope so it will continue.

so… Hows this Pagerank for you ?? Positive ?? Negative ?? or No change ??

Congrats to you. However, going beyond this is the real challenge. You are going to need backlinks from authority websites. My PR briefly went up to 6 when I got backlink from Wikipedia but dropped back to 5 when Wiki switched to no-follow.

I was busy with my family for few days because of my brothers marriage ..
So I didn’t used internet in those days….
But after his marriage I checked my blog for visits
And when I clicked on my home page .
I saw Live PR saying 1/10 in Firefox :€D
I said is it true ….. since I worked for getting a PR for blog from 1 month before this my blog was N/A
Then I did send sms to Chetan about this news
And he saw his blog with PR 5
now I am happy

i meant to say that ur blog is all proper with widgets in the sidebar, well placed ads, categories. in short it looks very proper. i know there are still many things we can do to get better.
i have SEO but haven’t done it for my personal sites (client sites only) and do not have a personal blog too yet, but will be soon starting few sites.
Q. a site of urs which u like the most and u did very hard work for it ?

hey congrats….. it is just because of your plugin that you created for wordpress which adds a baclink to you on the footer… you have too many backlinks thats why.
I hope i will be developig a wordpress plugin sooner.. that will give me the backlinks.

i have few sites with pr 4 but haven’t reached till PR 5 yet.
backlinks from high PR sites (like pr 6 and PR 7) can get our site high PR ? or any other way ?
i think the next update is nearby and should start working hard for the same.
