Google – Most popular name on internet, most popular search engine and one of the biggest “.com” company in this internet world. Google recently changed its favicon.Many people may not aware of , what exactly the Favicon is ?.
Favicon is short for favorites icon, it is also called as Website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon, etc etc..Most of the newer browser like IE 7, Firefox supports Favicon, and displays the web site icon in the browser near to address bar.
Google’s first Favicon was Capital “G” and then it is changed to small “g”. The new Google favicon is colorful, contains all colors that present in Google logo.

Change is always new and not widely accepted ….
Like Firefox 3 …
This new favicon is same as that
But it will not affect the visitors or the search results …
Google first changed the internet now they are changing themselves

Make your favicon image .png or .gif with transparent background.
