It hurts to see our busy Mumbai turn into a battlefield where civilians have to battle it out for lives…no different from what our own countrymen at far flung places like J&K and north-east face each day.Hope city dwelling people like us who enjoy normal life start giving some thought to what is happening to the nation as a whole and pressurise politicians to reflect their views. This is not the time to listen to religious or regionalist leaders ,but to make good the word ‘Unity’ that we so proudly present everywhere without even giving a thought.
I am sorry if I am not making points relevant to your posting, but I am seriously hurt. And I hope we all pray for the people whose life would now take ugly twists and turns, and be more considerate in our views towards what the situation really is,instead of being led by others.

And to each one reading this post,Indians or not,I hope you wake up to the issue spreading all over the world and keep vigil.

Some Diwali rockets need to be stuck in their @$$es, lit and sent them to the moon. They are targetting our culture, innocent people and historic monuments!

And I really hate the sensational media journalism by Times Now which was the only channel that didn’t listen to the police orders and started showing close ups from where the commandos were operating. This helped the terrorists to resist longer. When the cable was shut down Arnab on Times Now cribbed big time…

I am totally moved by this tragic incident in Mumbai..
Many innocent people lost their lives in this terror attack…

I am or I must say we all are continuously watching all news channels for recent coverage…

I appreciate our media,Mumbai police, arm forces and each and every person who is trying hard to evacuate the current terror zones ,and make them safe from terrorists…

And I am proud about the recent operation at Nariman House and Hotel Oborai has been successfully completed,
and the terrorists have been killed by our soldiers…

But the terrorists and the terrorist organizations don’t know and even don’t get this simple point that what they are going to get after all these drama is nothing but only curse of all the dead innocent people and their relatives and the well wishers from all over the world…

Terrorism is now like business for these people ….
Those who don’t have any aim in their life , no future they mostly join these troops to make other people harm and get shot after that activity…

Why don’t they get such a simple thing that you are killing anyone’s brother, mother, father….
Why don’t they get such a simple thing ???

    But…

These like terrorist activities can never make any nation weak . Not India …
They can not fill our heart with terror…..
We are the symbol of unity and nearby nations don’t like our happiness that is why they so this like activities ….

Like some times family members fight with each other( like the recent events took place in Mumbai) but when other try to take advantage of this situation( the recent attacks by terrorists) all the members of the family unite and throw the intruders out…..

Same is the situation here …..

And we are now heading towards the success …

If we think in the positive direction this is the alarm bell for us yes the Today’s generation ..We are not giving priority to the safety of our nation .We are in a habit of being pass our responsibilities to the next weaker person…

I do agree I am Running away from my responsibilities and you should also accept this ….

We need to get unite and try to build a new nation of all the young fresh minds…

I think that Indian Government should makes rules for every candidate who is representing any party in elections..
    Like ..
Candidate post graduate with more than 70% with no gaps in the degree or so ..
Must have a clean background ,
Like these which we face in our interviews to get a job.
I wonder why there are no such rules in election for the eligibility procedure ….
    .
    .
    .
Hope this comment reach the deserving persons ..
who can take decisions for the well future of India ….

At last I want to say that together we can stop terrorism…

    Jai Hind !!
    Jai Bharat !!

I am right now feeling ashamed of myself for not doing anything for the contry which gave me everything. I lived only for myself unlike the bravehearts fighting for me(and all of us) against those retards. Kudos to them. They are cut above the rest.

I’d also like to tell our politicos to stop the blame game. Good signs were seen from Advani for being supportive to the ruling party, but looks like he’s starting the bashing again. Please be united. Don’t bring down the morales of our brave soldiers by doing this. Pleeeaaaase……

Terrorism sucks..what do these guys get from such stuff. Should’t they persue something better. Who has such grudge against innocent people? And the Indian news channels are really stupid, they just want footage for their channel and they don’t care about people or what’s happening. They actually helped the terrorist.

@vinitneo, I see. So they should have left the attack uncovered? Sorry, but the country needs to know whats going on, especially if it’s our biggest terror attack. And newspapers would have come out only the next morning. We need on-the-spot tidings, so the news channels come in there.

Terrorism is cultivated in Pakistan and exported to all other parts of the world. We’ve got enough evidence for the same and we should strike the terror camps inside pakistan. The whole world will support India. This fact frist stated by india in the 1980s when pakistan started its terror activites at J&K. At that time US and webster countries doest listen to India. It is high time we should destroy the terror camps inside Pakistan.

@jaya, the terrorists were from LASHKAR-E-TAIBA, which, may I remind you, is a terrorist group from PAKISTAN. Ajmal Kasab and his fellow terrorists were brainwashed and trained by Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Don’t believe me? Look up Ajmal Kasab’s life history on Wikipedia.

You have to give a hand to the Crazies, how did they get 10 Young men who are: willing to die, well armed, well trained, calmly held off the Indian army for days with just the ammo that they carried.

    They can’t be defeated militarily.

but this was a challenge to our Indian ppl … and it proves that few gangsters can rule our army for few days for sure.

still many gov officers are taking bribe … once or twice in a month i too give bribe to traffic police … they catch for any non sense reasons .. and do settlement for 50 bugs …

The terrorists got what they were capable of DEATH. But the deaths of the terrorists is of less importance than the sacrifices given by our bravehearts in the form of many police officers and the civilians as well. It was an outrageous incident where a group of men made MUMBAI MUM-BY
their intentions of cruelty and sheer foolishness.
The photos are just a mirror veiw of the things that happenedand the attacks faced by the city that never accepts defeat. The historical buildings attacked by the terrorists can be renovated but the wounds faced by these buildings along with the mumbaikars cannot be forgotten for the years to come.
The politicians got what they deserved to a gr8 extent.
Just give a chance for the young blood of India to take charge and run the country and make it and Incredible INDIA
and tell the neighbours that If U want some , Come get some
NOt in a voilent manner but in a manner we dealt with the problems instead of attacking in the name of religions and other useless matters……!

    Evidence deliberaltely ignored:

Strange that none of the media (TV or Print) have picked this up at all. Or have they been deliberately ignoring it?
Have a look at picture 7 with heading “What should we do with this guy?”

Notice the orange thread / band on his right hand.

Tying a red thread or cord around the wrist is a Hindu practice and it is unlikely a Muslim, especially one politicized enough to carry out an attack such as this, would observe it. I think this provides more evidence that this was a false flag operation or at least an attack by a non-Muslim group. For more information about the significance of the red thread see wikipedia and this blog post.

Then your friends need to make themselves much, much more vocal about their condemnation of fellow Muslims’ acts.

The actions of Muslims worldwide is abysmal, from the acts of the mullahs in Iran, those in Al Qeada and otherwise.

I only see the barbarism of Islam: the decapitations, public floggings, beatings, stonings and such. I don’t care what anyone says: Islam is a violent, ugly and barbaric religion; it’s sexist, racist, and backward.

Nobody who doesn’t have their head down a hole can see that.

I have no time for Muslims any more. They should all be ashamed of the religion. Anyone who can hold their head up and be proud of being one is a fool.

I don’t get LeT. Do they really think that only hindus are killed by their barbaric acts? No, muslims are as well. So are innocent Sikhs, Cristians, and others who just want to live in peace.

And that terrorist is a proven muslim: Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman, better known as Ajmal Kasab. He confessed.

But don’t deride Islam as a religion. It deserves respect, but those who take the extremist views, such as believing that it should be the only religion, and infidels should be eradicated, people like that shouldn’t be even called human. They’re embarrasments to nature itself.

All the terrorists who want to destroy our dear India should be ready to face the consequenses. Our Indian law should have a very special punishment for such terrorists. The punishmentshould be as follows:
1)Cut off their hands and legs OR make 5 to 6 inches cuts on each part of the body and put salt, red chilli powder,Paaav bhaji masala, garam masala ,and all Indian masalas from each Indian state on the wounds. This will make them realize about our Indian Strength and will also come to know how they made wounds and pains physically and mentally on the Indians. They should suffer the pains that even today the injured are suffering and also mentally the state of shock the loved ones of the dead are going through.
2)Give them Rotten eggs and fungus covered food to eat.No mineral water or purified water should be given.Instead give them water specially made of germs and other dangerous bacteria.

We are the symbol of unity and nearby nations don’t like our happiness that is why they so this like activitie

HI THIS IS SURENDRA FROM NAVI MUMBAI , THE TERROR ATTACK IN MUMBAI IS GOING TO COMPLETE ITS 1 YRS ON 26/11/2009 THRUSDAY. WE ALL MUMBAIKAR SHOULD COME IN ONE VOICE AND SAY “NO” TO TERRORISM. INDIAN GOVT SHOULD TAKE SOME FIRM DECISION TO ERADICATE THIS DISEASE LIKE TERRORISM. V SHOULD ISOLATE THE COUNTRY LIKE PAKISTAN WHO GIVE BIRTH TO THIS KIND OF DISEASE LIKE TERRORISM.

“AT THE END I WOULD LIKE TO SALUTE THE 26/11 HEROS WHO FOUGHT HARD TO MAKE MUMBAI TERRORFREE AFTER 7 DAYS.
WE ARE ONE AGAINST TERRORISM AND SAY NO TO IT”.

We should not celebrate the first anniversary of the death of our citizens. What should be done is that the politicians should be kicked out of India and spiritual leaders should be requested to take the reigns of India.

Aren’t you ashamed to prepare for observing the anniversary of the terror attack?

    @P.K. Venugopal,

No, we should not celebrate the death anniversary of the victims of the 26/11 terror attacks. Rather, we should celebrate the bravery of officers like Karkare, Kamte and Salaskar, and mourn the loss of civilian lives.
But I disagree with you about the spiritual leaders part. India is a democratic republic, and should stay one. A State where spiritual leaders thrust their own beliefs on us doesn’t sound very attractive. We can express our beliefs more freely (I believe) in a country like ours. When the Puritans took over England, it didn’t do much good for the lovers of freedom.

People of Maharashta who voted for the parties like MNS and shiv sena should be ashamed of themselves. These parties are just taking benefit of people’s sentiments. They are doing nothing for Maharashtra.

I request the loving people of Maharashta to avoid these peoples, so that the state can grow without any hinderance.

    @KuldEEpzzz,
So, does that mean Kasab should be kept amid tight security (Rs 31 crore an year) and should be fed with Biryani?
The fact is, in spite of knowing everything, India can’t eradicate the root cause (support from Pakistan). The sheer reason being US support to Pakistan, and India kneeling down to US.

    @Rivu,
I agree with you but I would prefer a much more painful death to be given to that vagabond. If we poison him, that poison should be extracted from a poor poisonous snake. That is, we are stealing poison from a snake for killing a soul that even the devil won’t accept. So that is not the correct way.

The relatives of all the persons who are dead or injured during the terror attack on 26/11/08 in Mumbai should cut the living vagabond terrorist with a blade till he bleeds and dies. Mind you, he should first of all be tied upside down in front of India Gate. If there is no place in his body to cut after all the victims’ relatives have done their job, the remaining persons should cut on the previously cut place.
