It all comes down to the "apple effect". People have a high expectation with companies like Google and Apple so people tend to lean towards their products more. I wouldn't change to Chrome. Install it along side Firefox, yes. Use it as your default browser, no. It's still a very early beta that they weren't even intending to release yet anyway.
