Some years ago I had this very old TV. The brand of the TV was Aristona and when the remote control of my TV died I had to find a new one.. Off course I couldn't find one because it was too old untill I visit a small shop which was my last hope. When I told the story he said: "Aristona = Philips! Here try this Philips remote control, it WILL work.. If it doesn't you get your money back!". And guess what: It did work! summarized: Philips is a big company and sometimes they produce some products with other companies or in my case, under another brand! Didn’t knew about that!
